As we assess things from a variety of perspectives we gain clarity and understanding. As we view the problems in our own life we see them from a single perspective. Only after we have overcome the problem, are we able to view it from a new vantage point. It is during this shift in perspective we learn the most about ourselves. Seeing what was once perceived as a problem we eventually look upon as a learning experience, and thus our consciousness is expanded.
